Unobtrusive Beauty

I am always awed by the unobtrusive beauty of nature that can be passed by unseen by many. It may be seen in a peaceful sky or in the reflections from flooded fields or even in the shapes created by the rain. In this piece I have used a limited colour palette of alizarin crimson, dusky pinks, rusty ochres and soft greens to recreate the warm glow of joyousness that I felt. The landscape is made from layers of thin and opaque paint, with beautiful patterns and surface textures that can be reminiscent of another place entirely.
I have hand painted the frame in grey with a touch of phthalo blue that sets off the painting beautifully as in the pictures.
UV varnished with a cold wax buffed finish

Unframed is 50 cm x 50cm x 2cm. The sides are painted black :- £350.00
Framed is 53cm x 53cm x 3cm in a hand painted grey blue tray frame. It will come ready to hang, strung and screwed in place :-£425.00

I aim to have all orders packed and shipped within five working days. However the frames I use are made to order and then I hand paint them which may mean your painting will take up to 14 days before it can be posted.
In the UK, I send items by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. All shipments require a signature and are tracked. Once shipped most UK deliveries arrive within two working days. Please contact me first if you need an item by a specific date. If you need orders sooner there may be an extra charge.
