'Ease'

This piece has a warm glow of happiness that brought a sense of ease to my mind. It captures a fleeting moment when I was looking up at the sky at dusk and a line of small birds flew across the horizon bringing to mind a group of young children laughing and playing happily.
I have used an almost fluorescent pink to bring that end of day glow to the clouds, which is then picked up in the grass of the meadows below.
The frame is hand painted in a dark grey with a hint of violet that sets off the colours in this painting beautifully.
