‘Inhale’
Original painting in oil, acrylic and cold wax on a cradled wooden panel.
I am always exhilarated by the huge skies up here in Scotland and am fascinated by the continually moving cloud formations. In this piece I used cold wax mixed into the oil paint to create a thicker more impasto effect. Also the water has a thin layer of metallic acrylic paint, adding a beautiful shimmer when it catches the light.
UV varnished
Framed in a black tray frame (not shown) measuring 34 x 34 cm
This painting is currently hanging as part of the ‘Big Art show’ in Paisley, where it is available to buy.
